Hey Guys, we have been having trouble with our email list. But we finally fixed it, if you didn’t get it here is some things we are going to be doing this semester:

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 9th: Guest Speaker on how to get a job at 4:30 in Todd 302

Seattle Trip: February 25th, we are meeting for sure with the Seattle Seahawks, Holland America Cruise Lines, and Boeing.

We will have a Open to Close soon too, don’t know the date yet.

Here’s a great website created by a fellow marketing club member, Kayleen Broberg (VP), its a salon that one of her family friends owns ad operates out of Woodinville, WA. So lets get some people to visit it! Hopefully we can get some more marketing tasks done for this site too.

Rocktober!

Hey Gang! We are in charge are designing a viral marketing campaign for Rocktober, a SEB sponsored event. John Robinson (a club member). We talked about this a bit in the last meeting, here is some things we thought up:

1) Mall Booth: Set up a booth about all the bands that will be there and how awesome the event will be.

2) Greek Advertising: One the areas that is no touched by the usual marketing for these types of events is the Greek community, if we can get some of these people the crowd could huge!

My Big Give

We need to get going on some marketing for mybiggive.com. We have some ideas right now, but we need you guys to make it happen!

IDEAS:

1) Have everyone in Marketing Club change their status to something about mybiggive.com, then when people comment you can tell them all about it, thus spreading the word.

2) Straight word of mouth: Have everyone tell 5-10 people about the website and get thing really interested so they will use it, then they can spread the word from there.

3) Challenge: Get in contact with UW and their Marketing Club and compete with them to see how many people we can get to go to the website.

4)Mall Booth: Set up a both on Glenn-Terrell Mall where we can show people how to use the website and the great advantages of using it.
